When molding molds, the accuracy is affected by these factors

How can we effectively improve the precision management of our injection molds during processing? First of all, we need to know what problems affect the production and processing accuracy of injection molds.

1. Dimensional accuracy
refers to the consistency and degree of the tolerance between the actual working size of the processed parts and the dimensions of the parts.
Dimensional accuracy is controlled by dimensional tolerances. Dimensional tolerance is the amount of variation that the dimensions of a part are allowed to vary during the machining process. In the case of the same basic dimensions, the smaller the dimensional tolerance, the higher the dimensional accuracy.

2. Shape accuracy
refers to the degree of overlap between the actual geometry of the surface of the machined part and the ideal geometry. There are 6 items to evaluate the shape accuracy, such as straightness, flatness, roundness, cylindricity and line profile. Shape accuracy is controlled by the shape tolerance. With the exception of roundness and cylindricity, all shape tolerances are divided into 12 accuracy classes. Level 1 is high, level 12 is low.
